United States Coast Guard Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps

We were recently made aware of a potential threat against schools with a Camden reference. We have been in communication with the Camden County Sheriff's Department, and at this time, we have no evidence that it is a credible threat, or even a reference to Camden County Schools in North Carolina. The safety of our students and staff is a priority of Camden County Schools. We are thankful for students and families who support our school system and inform us when they see or hear anything that could potentially impact schools. We encourage you to continue to be vigilant and to communicate any concerns.

CADET OF THE WEEK - This week's Cadet of the Week is Cadet Thuy Nguyen. Miss Nguyen is an exceptional cadet with outstanding character and poise. Thuy has been selected as the cadet of the week because this past Friday, she found out that she has been accepted into the Coast Guard Academy class of 2028. This is due to her remarkable academic standing, sensational athleticism, and noteworthy leadership potential. This opportunity is worth more than $280,000! We are thrilled that Thuy will have the opportunity to serve our country and represent our school. Congratulations Thuy!

CADET OF THE WEEK - Cadet Kenzi Null is an outstanding student cadet. Maintaining excellent grades and always having a positive attitude are what set her apart. Her willingness to go above and beyond what is expected are characteristics that will take her far in this program and life. We are pleased to make Cadet Null our very first Cadet of the Week!
