Big Fall Ahead for Camden JROTC Cadets!
Our JROTC cadets are staying active and busy this fall with a calendar full of exciting events!
The Color Guard is in high demand, with appearances at the October 10, 24, and 31 home football games, the Aviation Survival Technician Reunion at the Hilton Garden Inn on October 18, and even at NASCAR in Martinsville, VA, on October 24!
Although the Raider Challenge originally planned for September 27 was rescheduled, our cadets aren’t missing a beat. We’ve challenged Washington County High School to a one-on-one Cadet Challenge—more details coming soon!
In addition, cadets recently completed their first fun run during PT classes and tackled their first fitness test of the year this morning. They gave it their all and did a fantastic job!
We’re also thrilled to announce the start of STEM Fridays beginning this Friday the 3rd of October. Cadets will design and build their very own balsa wood race cars and put them to the test on the racetrack. It’s teamwork, problem-solving, and fun all rolled into one!
Finally, don’t forget—our Booster Meeting will be held in the JROTC classroom on October 14. We’d love to see lots of parents and supporters join us to keep the momentum going strong.
