Message from the CGJROTC Instructors

This week will be the first time we’ve had all cadets in uniform. Please come to school by 0700 prepared to look your best in your Tropical Blue Long Short Sleeve uniform. Ladies, please see a female member of our cadet if you have questions regarding your hair. Guys, please see any male members of our cadet if you have questions about your grooming standards. The inspection will be in the hallway of the high school. Report to the JROTC classroom at 0700 and we’ll move to the hallway at approximately 0720.

Our team of Cadet Challenge cadets has been working hard in preparation for this weekend’s Cadet Challenge that is going to be held at ECSU. Cadet Frisbie has done an outstanding job working with all cadets to ensure maximum performance. I can’t wait to see how well we do against our local competition.

Lastly, is our Air Rifle team. All “A” Team cadets are required to shoot for a score between now and the 22nd of September. There is a match each month of the school year. If you’ve not stopped by to take a look at our indoor electronic scoring range, do yourself a favor and come take a look. It is a state-of-the-art system.

This Friday will be our first Bruin Success. If you do not have a place to be during your Bruin Success, you should come to the JROTC Classroom. We’ll be showing a movie and will have some snacks available as well. Of course, if you have to be in a specific class for Bruin Success you’ll need to be there. Check with your teacher.
